Mama's Recipe's
My mother was an absolutely wonderful cook. I have compiled some of her "famous recipes". Maybe they weren't world wide famous but they sure were famous with the neighborhood kids and our school friends.
Peanut Butter Balls to Die For! Yum!
Ingredients:
One half cup Peanut Butter
One half cup Honey
One cup dried Powdered Milk
Half a box of Corn Flakes
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with your hands. (except for the Corn Flakes) Make sure it is mixed well.
2. Roll into small balls about the size of a Ping Pong Ball.
3. Place Corn Flakes on a towel on the table. Using a wooden roller roll back and forth until the Corn Flakes are just small crumbs across the towel.
4. Roll the peanut butters balls in the Corn Flakes.
This is an easy to make treat and no baking. It's a great after school snack with the kids and the kids can even help you make it. It's a delicious high protein snack with lots of energy and wonderful taste.
I will never forget the Peanut Butter Balls Mama used to make! They were delicious!
